Marlie enjoys a countryside location, but is just a short drive from the coast. Perhaps, more accurately, it's a golf swing and a half from the sea, as Littlestone Golf Club is situated between Marlie and the nearest beach - so don't forget your clubs!
Marlie is a beautiful countryside park set between the Kentish villages of New Romney and Dymchurch. It’s perfect for families with young children offering great park facilities to keep the kids entertained, including a modern entertainment venue and restaurant, which for 2024 has received a fresh new look, take a tour here The indoor heated pool is ideal for a dip after a busy day out exploring Kent, and there's an adventure play area too. Another fantastic addition for 2024 is a new dog wash station for your four-legged friend to wash off their sandy paws and ensure they love staying at Marlie just as much as you do.
Marlie is also a beacon for nature lovers. Adjacent to the park is a site of special scientific interest (sssi), Dungeness, a shingle-based setting that shelters a large area of low-lying land called Romney Marsh. It's home to a huge variety of migratory birds, uncommon plants, insects and more. The visitor centre is very close to the park so be sure to take a look!
Marlie is also home to a large colony of rabbits, plus one of our very own, our colourful mascot Loopy! Come and see us at Marlie soon (but don't forget those carrots).

Refurbishment of the bar and entertainment area & new dog wash station
New for 2024
Our enhancements include high-level fixed seating, along with new and refurbished furniture, lighting, screens, and captivating artwork, breathing new life into the entertainment space. To streamline service, the bar counter has recieved a complete revamp, ensuring swift and efficient service for our valued guests. Additionally, we have introduced a front-of-house pizza oven, an exciting addition to our seasonal menu, promising delightful family meals and enjoyable gatherings with friends. take a tour here
The entire complex has undergone a comprehensive redecoration, including the toilets, with new cladding and signage at the front entrance for a refreshed look. We have also replaced an area of flooring to accommodate a dog-friendly owner's area, ensuring no one is left behind. And that's not all – a dog-wash station has been installed, allowing your four-legged friends to be cleaned after all your adventures along the beautiful Kent coast. These updates aim to create a more welcoming, inclusive, and enjoyable experience for everyone at Marlie.
