Don't fancy cooking breakfast? (Let's be honest, who does? Especially on holiday) Start your holiday with homemade food in a cosy, family-run tearoom in the heart of Looe.

Try out all the local delicacies from cakes to Cornish pasties served with a delicious cup of hot chocolate or a coffee to get in the spirit of Cornwall.

Adrenalin Quarry

Have children that have far too much energy? Adrenalin Quarry is one for the whole family, From Aquapark, Minibikes, The Zip, The Giant Swing and Axe Throwing.

Only 6 miles and a 15-minute drive from Looe, Adrenalin Quarry is a stunning beauty spot near Menheniot, Liskeard. If you’re lucky you might be able to watch up-and-coming and elite Red Bull cliff divers practising on the cliffs!

The Old Sail Loft Restaurant

One of the oldest buildings in Looe, still preserved in the original form from 450 years ago. You could be enjoying dinner and drinks with some old-fashioned dinner guests. *Hint hint*.

The Old Sail Loft Restaurant is open for lunch and evening meals, specialising in steaks and fresh local fish from the quay.

DAY 2

Looe Island

From April to the end of September, you can board a boat next to the RNLI slipway to explore Looe Island for a couple of hours. Whilst you’re exploring, you’ll hear very interesting stories that are crammed into these 22.5 acres.

Going up the hill you’ll discover what’s left of the Medieval Lamanna Chapel, on the site of a Celtic monastery that was founded in the 500s. Although, these crossings take place on either side of the high tide.

Catch Fish & Chip Shop

Whenever you’re by the seaside a classic fish & Chips are the priority. Catch is a traditional Fish and Chip shop with a slight difference. No matter how busy they get, all food is cooked to order and sourced locally.

They offer Gluten Free on request too. To top it all off, the Tartar sauce is homemade!

East Looe Beach

Fancy a beach day? East Looe Beach is situated directly in front of the old town, sheltered from the west by the famous banjo pier and overlooked from the east by the hillside of Mount Ararat. At low tide, there is a sloping sandy beach that is safe for swimming. There is a ‘Second Beach’ just to the East which is a great spot to get away from crowds and excellent for snorkelling.

If you’re not one for sitting on the beach all day relaxing, don’t worry there is something for you. On the other side of the Banjo Pier sits the Looe River and harbour. Where you can go fishing off the pier or riverside. If that still isn’t your cup of tea, there is no shortage of excursions and angling trips.

Fun Fact Looe is the headquarters of the Shark Fishing Club of Great Britain for those thrill-seekers.

Sterts Theatre

Sterts is one of the UK’s most unusual theatrical settings. Seating 400 on the grassy side of Bodmin Moor, In the open Cornish air (Don’t worry if the weather's rubbish, you’re protected by a massive canopy.)

Some of the show biz biggest names has graced the stage, Such as Jo Brand, Josh Widdicombe and Ed Byrne.

. I wouldn’t worry about feeling thirsty or peckish. The theatre has confectionery and Cornish ice cream ready and available. Along with a glass of wine from the well-stocked bar.
