The Bluebell Railway – Uckfield (Sussex)

The 'Bluebell Railway' operates historic steam trains on a scenic 22-mile return trip between Sheffield Park and East Grinstead - calling at Horsted Keynes and Kingscote, it’s one of the best ways to see the Sussex countryside.

In addition to a busy calendar of special events, passenger services run daily from May to September and during school holidays. The heritage railway also runs several premier dining trains, including the Golden Arrow, Wealden Rambler afternoon teas, fish and chip specials and 'Real Ale' trains (if you book in advance and want to make an extra special day of it). The experience to go on these original steam trains is essential if you’re trying to make the most out of your trip – and fit in some nostalgia!

Seal Watching Tour Essex

Get up close and personal with some of the cutest of British wildlife in their own natural habitat – this boat tour promises seal-watching all year round.
